It shouldn’t come as a surprise for either team.
The Peach Belt has become a very hard conference to play in.

While the Jags and Pacers haven’t had it easy, they’ve still turned heads, enough to earn them a southeast regional ranking.
The southeast region consists of teams from the South Atlantic Conference, Conference Carolinas and the Peach Belt.
In the latest NCAA Division 2 Southeast Region rankings, Augusta comes in the number two spot behind Wingate.

Coach Sharon Quarles is already looking ahead.
Aiken volleyball’s season comes to an end in lower state
The Hornet’s defense kept Aiken in proximity to the Sharks lead throughout the final three sets.

“There’s not a day that we don’t have a target on our back. We’re getting everyone’s A-game, which is good for us because we’re not quite peaking yet, which is good for us as well as we enter into postseason play. That’s the time when you need all the pieces of the puzzle coming together, and we actually have four of the six coming together, so now it’s just kind of calming the outsides down,” said Quarles.
USC Aiken is not far behind from the Jags.
The Pacers sit back in number six behind PBC competitor Flagler.
USC Aiken is 12 and 7.
While this ranking is nice, the Jags and Pacers have to have a strong finish in the Peach Belt next week.
