Daily forecast | From First Alert Meteorologist Mikel Hannah-Harding
Chance of rain late Tue./Wed AM, cooler temperatures by Thursday.
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Mostly sunny and warm to start off the week. Rain begins to move in late Tuesday lasting into Wednesday. A cold front brings some of the chilliest weather of the season Thursday lasting into the weekend.
The next chance of rain moves in late Tuesday afternoon and lasts into Wednesday. Rain is not expected to be very heavy or widespread, but if you have plans for Tuesday evening or Wednesday, you will want to keep an eye on the forecast.

Sunshine returns Thursday with windy and much colder-than-average temperatures on Thursday and Friday. Highs will only be in the upper 50s with morning lows dipping into the middle 30s by Friday and Saturday morning.
Tropical Depression Sarah could add tropical moisture to the front pushing through the region Wednesday, but it looks like the heaviest and most widespread rain from this system will stay to our south over southern Georgia and Florida.
