ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The trial for the man accused of killing nursing student Laken Riley on University of Georgia’s campus in February resumed Monday. Jose Antonio Ibarra, 26, is the undocumented immigrant from Venezuela charged in the Feb. 22, 2024, death of the 22-year-old student.
The trial wrapped up shortly before 4:45 p.m. and will resume at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
