Crews close roads to clear storm debris in Aiken, Columbia counties
EVANS, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Starting Tuesday, several roads will be closed due to crews taking away storm debris in Aiken and Columbia counties.
In Aiken County, city leaders say the northbound lane of Whiskey Road, between South Boundary and Grace avenues, will have traffic diverted.
They say that starts at 9 a.m. Tuesday for crews to take away storm debris.
Road infrastructure project complete in Bamberg County
Bamberg County leaders cut the ribbon on an infrastructure project Friday.

The southbound lane will stay open but just prepare for some delays.
Around that same time, temporary lane closures will be in place for Wrightsboro Road in Columbia County.
Leaders say it’ll be set up from Horizon South Parkway to Jimmie Dyess Parkway.
Crews will be at work from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day, until Nov. 23.
In Grovetown, officials said debris collection crews have also been spotted in town near Railroad and Ford avenues.
Please exercise caution if traveling through these work zones as contractors continue to remove debris.
