Road infrastructure project complete in Bamberg County

BAMBERG, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - Bamberg County leaders cut the ribbon on an infrastructure project Friday.
Neighbors have been advocating for improvements to Salty Road and Lazy Lane.

Paine College is still seeing an impact from Hurricane Helene.
During heavy rains, these roads were sometimes imable leaving neighbors trapped.
Crews added stronger ditches to make it easier for those who live on the roads.
