News 12′s Meredith Anderson spends a day as school principal

EVANS, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Your Meredith Anderson took a break from the newsroom on Thursday to become principal for a day at Blue Ridge Elementary School.
Meredith made class visits and assisted staff as part of the role.
Local students learn trades at East Georgia Skills Challenge
On Thursday, local students competed in the East Georgia Skills Challenge in 14 counties. Students competed in skills like cabinetmaking, carpentry, electrical, welding and plumbing.
She talked to one Blue Ridge fifth grader to get some advice.
Here’s one thing he told Meredith that you have to know.
“Probably what the lunch choice is for the day. Cause you might want to bring a lunch box or not,” Jackson Grant says.
