AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Mostly cloudy skies will develop in the afternoon. The next chance of widespread rain will come Thanksgiving Day.

The warmup continues today when highs will reach the lower 70s. However, a cool front ing through the region could bring a few scattered showers early.

Partly cloudy skies Wednesday with slightly cooler highs in the middle 60s and morning lows in the upper 30s to low 40s, then clouds return late in the day with a chance of showers Wednesday night into Thursday.

Rain moving in accompanied by a cold front Thursday. High temperatures will be in the low 70s on Thanksgiving Day with rain expected to last into the evening hours.
