AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The U.S. Postal Inspection Service released pictures of the suspects accused of robbing a letter carrier in Augusta almost two weeks after the crime.

On Wednesday, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service released two pictures of the suspects in hopes of catching them.

Alleged armed, dangerous suspect wanted in Augusta carjacking

A suspect is wanted in connection to an attempted carjacking and motor vehicle theft in Augusta. Authorities say he is to be considered armed and dangerous.

The U.S. Postal Inspection Service offered a reward of up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects on Nov. 15.

The robbery occurred on Nov. 13 at approximately 4:55 p.m. at 3461 Jonathan Circle, according to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.

The victim told deputies he was ing out mail when a suspect wearing all black and a face mask ran up and grabbed his right arm.

Victims identified, suspect arrested in Augusta double slaying

The victims of a double homicide early Wednesday morning have been identified, according to Richmond County Coroner Mark Bowen.

Another suspect wearing a gray hoodie pushed a pistol into his chest and robbed him, the victim told deputies.

The victim stated that the suspects ran off on foot towards Marvin Griffin Road, according to authorities.

Similarly, a Washington County man was convicted of aggravated assault and other charges after making threats and racial slurs against a mail carrier and later hitting his vehicle with a tractor.
