AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - An early morning crash caused injuries and traffic chaos on Washington Road in front of Krispy Kreme, according to Richmond County dispatch.

Dispatch says they got the call at 7:04 a.m. for a two-vehicle crash that caused injuries on Washington Road in front of Krispy Kreme.

Crews had closed two eastbound lanes of Washington Road at 7:22 a.m.

We were on the scene at 7:35 a.m. to learn more.

Around 8:03 a.m., our reporter on the scene says lanes were moving steadily again and police were with the tow-truck.
