Suspect sought after man shot twice in Augusta robbery
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A 22-year-old man is wanted in connection to an armed robbery that left one man with two gunshot wounds, according to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials say Roderick Bowers Jr., of Augusta, is wanted in reference to an armed robbery and aggravated assault incident that occurred on Nov. 25.
Bowers is approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds, according to officials.
Authorities say Bowers should be considered armed and dangerous.
Victim ID’d, suspect charged in fatal Augusta hit-and-run
Authorities have identified the victim and the suspect involved in the fatal hit-and-run on Milledgeville Road, we learned Tuesday morning.

According to the incident report, at 8:14 a.m., deputies responded to an apartment of the 3100 block of Skinner Mill Road in reference to an assault.
On scene, deputies found the victim lying on the back balcony with two gunshot wounds, according to the incident report.
The victim told deputies the suspect tried to rob him and that the suspect left the scene after shooting him.
The incident report states the suspect shot one more round that missed the victim before being struck.
The victim was transported to Doctor Hospital for his injuries, according to the incident report.
