Vehicles slam into each other at Riverwatch, I-20 on-ramp
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A minivan and a pickup were involved in a crash that banged up the vehicles Tuesday morning at Riverwatch Parkway and the eastbound Interstate 20.
It happened around 9:45 a.m. amid rainfall near a median where multiple orange traffic cones were being stored.
The front of a business pickup was smashed in, and the sport utility vehicle was damaged, too.
Victim ID’d, suspect charged in fatal Augusta hit-and-run
Authorities have identified the victim and the suspect involved in the fatal hit-and-run on Milledgeville Road, we learned Tuesday morning.

The driver of the pickup said that as he was getting onto the ramp, the minivan went out of control as it was getting off the interstate, and they crashed.
The airbags deployed on the pickup, the driver said.
It was unclear whether there were any injuries.
