Hitchcock Woods opens back up for first time since Helene

AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - Hitchcock Woods is back open.
Debris from Hurricane Helene has had it closed since late September. But signs are now out saying the 70 miles of trails are back open.

The North Augusta Greeneway is back open ahead of schedule and just in time for the holidays.
It’s a popular trail for dog walkers and horse riders alike.
It’s a great Christmas present from the crews who worked to clear things away to Aiken citizens.
