Missing man could be in South Carolina, according to deputies
AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - A missing Georgia man is being sought by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
Michael Dean Campbell, 33, was reported missing on Dec. 17.
The sheriff’s office says he was discharged from the Potters House in Jefferson, Ga., located on U.S. Highway 129, on Dec. 2.
It is believed by an anonymous complainant he is possibly in South Carolina, possibly staying in and out of hotels, according to the sheriff’s office.
Richmond County school principal arrested on DUI charge
Cross Creek High School Principal Laquanda Brown Carpenter has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

The sheriff’s office says there are no clothing descriptions for Campbell.
Campbell is 6 foot 5 inches tall and weighs 205 pounds.
The sheriff’s office says Campbell has issues with drugs and has an active probation warrant out of the Barrow County Sheriff’s Office.
