Aiken doctor’s medical license suspended, according to state board

AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - A local doctor’s medical license has been suspended, according to the South Carolina Board of Medical Examiners.

The board of medical examiners temporarily suspended Cindy Gissendanner Besson from practice as a physician, according to the South Carolina Medical Practice Act.

According to an order of temporary suspension, Besson’s license is suspended pending a hearing, or until further Order of the Board.

SEE THE ORDER:

It is unknown why Besson’s license has been suspended at this time.

According to the board of medical examiners, Besson’s license was issued in November 1991.
