3 arrested in fatal shooting of metro Atlanta bus driver
ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The final suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a MARTA bus driver has been arrested after several days on the run, according to police.
MARTA police said the third juvenile suspect in the killing of 47-year-old bus driver Leroy Ramos turned himself in to DeKalb County police Monday night.
MARTA police said the suspect, believed to be the shooter, was booked on a charge of murder.
Deputy injured, suspect killed in Atlanta neighborhood shootout
An off-duty Fulton County deputy was injured and an armed suspect was killed in a shootout in southwest Atlanta late Monday afternoon, according to the sheriff’s office.

On Friday evening, police arrested two other juvenile suspects on murder charges soon after Ramos was killed. Police said the suspects are being charged as adults, but they’re not identifying them because they’re juveniles.
Police said the three suspects had gotten into an argument with Ramos over a $2.50 fee in the bus loop at Decatur Station just before Ramos was shot and killed.

1 killed in shooting at Honduran Consulate near Atlanta
One person was killed and another was injured in a shooting at the Honduran Consulate building near Atlanta on Monday afternoon, according to police.

MARTA police said the operator was shot and killed during a “fare dispute” at the Decatur station just after 6:30 p.m. Friday.
According to police, two people have been arrested. A third is at large.
A bystander was taken to the hospital with a “superficial” bullet wound after a bullet ricocheted, police said.
Rail service is no longer impacted by the incident. Bus service has been moved to the Church Street said of the station.
