S.C. State delays move-in days due to potential winter weather
ORANGEBURG, S.C. - In preparation for poor road conditions from potentially hazardous wintry weather this week, South Carolina State will be postponing campus move-in days for the spring semester.
The university says first-time freshman and new transfer students will move into their residence halls Monday. For all returning students, the move-in date is Tuesday.
Here’s what Red Cross says to do in a winter storm
State agencies and electric crews are getting ready for an approaching winter storm. And the Red Cross says you should be preparing, too.

S.C. State previously scheduled move-ins for this Thursday and Friday.
“Safety always is our primary concern,” university President Alexander Conyers said. “With the likelihood of black ice in the South Carolina Midlands over the next few days, we thought it best to reduce the number of students and families on the roads.”
