22-year-old dies after being struck by vehicle in Aiken County
AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - We now know the name of the woman who died after being struck by a vehicle in Aiken County.
The Aiken County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim as Kennedy Freeman, 22, of Gaston, S.C.
The South Carolina High Patrol and Aiken County Coroner’s Office said a pedestrian was walking south on U.S. 1 near Bogeyville Road around 7:18 p.m. Sunday when a 2021 Chevrolet Camero hit them.
Aiken woman drowns after boat sinks during fishing tournament
An Aiken woman has died after her boat sank during a fishing tournament in Anderson County.
Authorities say the driver of the Camaro was not injured.
Freeman was taken to Aiken Regional Medical Centers, according to Coroner Darryl Ables, where she died from her injuries at 8:35 p.m. Sunday.
