Have you seen this missing man in Augusta?
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Authorities are asking the public for help locating a missing 61-year-old man.
Joseph Mitchell Hancock
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office says Joseph Hancock, 61, was last seen on Dec. 23 in the 2500 block of Central Avenue.
Hancock has been located in the past on the 1000 block of Greene Street, and in the area of the local hospitals.
Investigators say they have received information placing Joseph Hancock in the 600 block of South Marietta Parkway SE in Marietta, and the 600 block of Peachtree Street NE in Atlanta since Jan. 1, 2025.
Hancock is described by authorities to be five feet and eight inches in height and weighing around 125 pounds.
FOUND
Emma Caldwell
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office says Emma Caldwell has been located on Friday.
Authorities said Caldwell, 17, was last seen on Jan. 15 at around 5:30 p.m. leaving her residence in the 3900 block of Barlow Road.
Back in September, authorities were searching for Caldwell after she went missing.
Then in July, Caldwell went missing from her home, according to the Grovetown Police Department.
James Breeden
The sheriff’s office says James Howard Breeden was found deceased in the woods on his farm property.
Breeden was last spoken to three weeks ago on Jan. 10 by a family member at his home on Joshua Road.
Nylah Talley
Nylah Talley, 14, is a runaway who was last seen Jan. 18 in the 3500 block of Barker Drive in Augusta.
Authorities released a photo of her and said she’s 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds.
She was possibly picked up by a Lyft driver on Barker Drive in an unknown make and model vehicle.

Azariel Williams
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is also searching for Azariel Williams, 14, who was reported as a runaway juvenile on Dec. 30.
Her family reached out to us to request the public’s help in locating her.

Luther Wells
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office Says Luther Wells, 80, was last seen on Thursday at 9 a.m., leaving his residence on the 1900 block of Old Savannah Road.
Around 3:55 p.m., the sheriff’s office says Wells was located walking on Gormon’s Lane.
He was taken to the hospital for an evaluation out of precaution, deputies say.
Bertina Dalton
Bertina Dalton had last been seen on Dec. 22, 2024, at her residence on Skinner Mill Road.
Authorities said on Jan. 28 that she had been found and returned home.
