One injured after a robbery by force in Richmond County
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - One man is injured after a robbery by force took place Tuesday evening, according to officials.
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 2000 block of Clark Street in reference to a possible shooting at 6:30 p.m.
When deputies arrived they found a male victim in the roadway with an injury to his head.

Law enforcement officials are on the scene of a shooting incident at an apartment complex, according to the Grovetown Police Department.
Witnesses said the victim attempted to break up a fight between five to eight juveniles and they saw him fall to the ground.
The witnesses told deputies they saw a gun, but never heard shots.
The juveniles went through the victim’s pockets and left the scene with his belongings.
The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Investigators are still on scene and are investigating this incident as a robbery by force.
