2nd suspect arrested, 1 still sought in Augusta killing of Wrens teen
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A second suspect has been arrested in connection to a deadly shooting in July, according to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials say Deondray Denzell Donovan, 20, of the 3500 block of Snowden Drive, was arrested without incident during a traffic stop on Gordon Highway near Olive Road on Thursday.
Donovan is charged in the murder of Sadiq Antonio Brown of Wrens, according to officials.
Officials say the shooting took place in the parking lot of A-Town Wings at 2622 Peach Orchard Road on July 5.
Death considered suspicious after body found in wooded area
A dead person has been found in a wooded area near Doctors Hospital, authorities said Thursday.

Donovan is one of three individuals charged in connection with the incident.
Malcolm Bryant, 19, was arrested on Aug. 19, 2024, and Kieran Darnell Walters, 18, remains at large, according to the sheriff’s office.
According to deputies, Walters is known to frequent the Harrisburg Neighborhood and is to be considered armed and dangerous.

Donovan and Bryant are both charged with murder and possession of a firearm or knife during a crime, according to the sheriff’s office.
The coroner said Brown was shot at least one time and taken to Piedmont Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 11:34 p.m.
