South Carolina Highway Patrol makes arrest in fatal hit-and-run
ORANGEBURG, S.C. - The South Carolina Highway Patrol says the description of a car involved in a hit-and-run in Orangeburg County has resulted in an arrest.
Lance l. Brittany Glover announced that a suspect is in custody in connection to the fatal auto-pedestrian crash in which the driver of a 2014-2017 model white Infiniti Q-50 fled the scene.

That crash happened around 11 p.m. Sunday, but was not reported until nearly 8 a.m. Monday. Ricky Jamison, 62, of Orangeburg, was pronounced dead at the scene of that crash.
The driver of the Infiniti was traveling south on Belleville Road at Cherry Lane when they struck the victim.
The driver continued heading south toward Chestnut Street, according to Glover.
Troopers released details Tuesday describing the vehicle, saying it would have front-end damage to the enger side of the car.
Troopers have not yet released the name of the suspect they arrested or any details regarding the investigation and what information led them to make that arrest.
