AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Warmer than normal temperatures stick around today and Friday. Highs this afternoon will be in the mid to upper 60s. Highs will increase to the low and mid-70s by Friday as our next front moves into the region. Rain does look likely late in the day Friday into Friday night as the front es through. A few thunderstorms can’t be ruled out as well but there is no threat for severe storms or flash flooding at this time.

We should be back to dry weather for the weekend. Mostly sunny Saturday and Sunday with highs in the mid to upper 60s! Mornings will stay above freezing in the 40s.

Next week will continue to shell out a Spring-like forecast with sunny skies and highs in the low 70s.
