Missing 81-year-old man found dead in Saluda County
SALUDA, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - The Saluda County Sheriff’s Office says a missing 81-year-old man was found dead on Friday.
The sheriff’s office says James Howard Breeden was found deceased in the woods on his farm property.
Breeden was last spoken to three weeks ago on Jan. 10 by a family member at his home on Joshua Road.

Deputies were actively searching the area of Breeden’s residence using K-9′s and ariel drones on Friday morning around 9:30 a.m.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Mr. James Breeden,” said the sheriff’s office in a Facebook post.
Breeden’s death is being investigated by the Saluda County Coroner’s Office, along with Saluda County Sheriff’s Office.
The coroner’s office says an autopsy has been schedule.
“The coroner’s office is grateful for the partnership and assistance of the sheriff’s office, Saluda County EMS and Saluda County Fire on scene. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mr. Breeden’s family,” said the coroner’s office in a statement.
