New details emerge in Jackson man’s child sex charges
JACKSON, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - Police released details about the crimes a Jackson man has been charged with after being accused of criminal sexual conduct with several minors and providing them with drugs.
Burnettown police say an Aiken-Barnwell mental health worker reported that a 15-year-old victim disclosed they had been sexually assaulted in March of 2024 by the suspect Juan Rodriguez.
Evans man accused of exposing himself in Patriots Park
An Evans man has been arrested on a charge of exposing himself at a local park – and it may not be the first time, according to authorities.

Authorities say they then met with another 15-year-old who stated she was dating Rodriguez during October and November of 2023.
She stated they had a sexual relationship despite Rodriguez’s knowledge of her age, according to authorities.
During that time, Rodriguez turned 19, the victim told deputies. The relationship ended in March 2024.
Aiken County deputies said they met with a 14-year-old who reported having a sexual relationship with Rodriguez back in September.
Columbia County man charged with felony sexual exploitation of children
A man has been charged with felony sexual exploitation of children after allegedly ing lewd photos, according to arrest warrants.

The victim told deputies that Rodriguez also offered her methamphetamine on several occasions.
Weeks after Hurricane Helene hit, she said the accused offered her drugs in Burnettown Park on Augusta Road.
They were in the parking lot inside the subject’s car. According to the victim, he always smoked meth in his car.
When he offered her meth she said no and he smoked it in front of her.
Rodriguez was arrested on Tuesday and charged with three counts of criminal sexual conduct with a minor or attempt in the second degree and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to jail records.
