BRUNSWICK, Ga. (WTOC) - On the Glynn County Courthouse’s steps Wednesday, Ahmaud Arbery’s mother made an imioned promise.

“The fight continues,” said Wanda Cooper-Jones. “We still run with Ahmaud.”

Her comments came soon after a judge dismissed all counts against Jackie Johnson, the former Brunswick district attorney charged with shielding two of Arbery’s killers.

“I thought we had a guilty verdict,” said Cooper-Jones speaking about Johnson’s trial. “Unfortunately, the law is the law, and the judge had to follow the law.”
