One man dead after shooting outside Orangeburg store
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Orangeburg County Coroner Sean Fogle is releasing the name of a man who was killed on Friday at Dodge’s Southern Style in Orangeburg.
Fogle identified the man as 48-year-old George C. Caldwell of Bamberg, SC.
The Orangeburg Police said they responded to a shooting around 9:08 p.m. at the 1800 block of Old Edison Drive, also known as Dodge’s Southern Style.
Officers said after they arrived they found a man with a gunshot wound, who was later pronounced dead.
Orangeburg Public Safety asks anyone with information to 803-534-2812. The department says this is an ongoing investigation.
