1 suspect still sought after 2 arrests in Augusta’s latest murder
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a third suspect in connection to the weekend murder of a 32-year-old on Cooney Circle.
The Richmond County Coroner’s Office says 32-year-old James Wise, of Augusta, was killed in the shooting.
18-year-old Tyrule Tillman is wanted for murder in connection with the recent homicide on Cooney Circle.
Tillman is 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs about 140 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
Officials say Tillman is known to frequent the Jennings Place apartment complex and surrounding area. Deputies say he is considered armed and dangerous.

Two suspects are already in custody.
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office says 16-year-old Lucas Bradley and 16-year-old Tayvioun Harden were wanted on charges of murder and possession of a firearm during a crime.
The two were booked into the Charles B. Webster Detention Center.
Deputies responded to the 1900 block of Cooney Circle at 6:10 p.m. Saturday to investigate a report of a gunshot victim, according to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say when they arrived, they located Wise inside a residence, where he had been shot at least one time in the neck.
The coroner’s office says Wise was pronounced dead on the scene at 7:09 p.m.
A large crowd of people were seen on the scene at 8:05 p.m., according to a News 12 crew.
An autopsy for Wise has been scheduled, according to the coroner’s office.

Wise’s death makes the seventh homicide in Augusta this year.
The slaying is among the latest in a more than two-year outbreak of violent crime that’s claimed about 200 lives across the CSRA.
Communities large and small have been affected on both sides of the Savannah River.
