Congress is back, Trump hosts foreign leaders

Monday:
This week in Washington, Monday is the deadline for federal workers to comply with an Elon Musk demand to present documentation of work – or be fired. To note – several agencies have informed employees to not respond to the email.
Monday marks the third anniversary of Russia invading Ukraine. The war has displaced more than 10 million, according to the UN. The conflict has also cost Ukraine 11 percent of its land, according to the Institute for the Study of War, a US-based conflict monitor.
French President Emmanuel Macron visits the White House.
Supreme Court justices will hear a case involving the death penalty and DNA.
Congress return to Capitol Hill to clean up a fiscal mess. The House Rules Committee meets to begin the process of voting on the house version of the budget. At the same time, both chambers are staring down the March 14 deadline to keep the government open.
Wednesday:
Supreme Court justices will hear a case that involves potential LGBTQ discrimination.
President Donald Trump will hold his first cabinet meeting.
Thursday:
President Trump will host UK Prime Minister Kier Starmer.
