17-year-old charged with murder in Saluda County slaying
SALUDA, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - A 17-year-old has been arrested and charged with murder after a homicide in Saluda County, according to the Saluda County Sheriff’s Office.
In the early morning hours of Feb. 22, deputies say they responded to a call in the northern part of Saluda County.

A detention guard has been arrested after he was accused of bringing contraband into the Barnwell County Detention Center.
Officials say due to evidence located on the scene, deputies began an investigation and later determined that a homicide had occurred.
Through the investigation, which is still ongoing, deputies say they have arrested Zachary Jones, 17.
Suspect on the run after shooting incident in New Ellenton
Authorities are searching for the suspect involved in a shooting incident in New Ellenton on Monday morning.
Jones has been charged with murder, desecration of human remains and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
Jones has been charged as an adult, according to the sheriff’s office.
