76-year-old dies after Aiken County traffic accident
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A man has died a few days after a traffic accident in Aiken County, according to authorities.
Aiken County Coroner Darry Ables said Thursday that 76-year-old Paul Morse died as a result of a crash that happened at 12:16 p.m. Saturday at Pine Log Road and Piney Heights Road.
60-year-old motorcyclist killed on I-520 in Augusta crash
A motorcyclist died after a late-night crash in Augusta on Tuesday, according to the Richmond County Coroner’s Office.
Morse was driving a 2021 Can-Am Ryker south on Piney Heights when the three-wheel motorcycle crashed into a 2023 Nissan Rogue that was turning north onto Piney Heights from Pine Log Road, according to Ables.
Morse was taken to Wellstar MCG hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries at 4:50 p.m. Wednesday.
Ables and the South Carolina Highway Patrol are continuing with the investigation.
