North Aiken Elementary principal earns statewide honor
The South Carolina Association of Black School Educators honored Doctor Elisa Sanders-Pee as Principal of the Year.

However, the principal wanted to make it unique for her students as they performed for other Murphey family .
“So, we did the live-in wax museum because we wanted it to be a bit more interactive for the kids, as well as for the parents, as opposed to a traditional program where everybody’s performing. This is middle school. We wanted it to be a little bit more challenging. So, our students had to choose a person, learn that person, and be able to incite the contributions that that person made,” said Principal Bettina Kyler.
