North Augusta’s new Autumn Grace Boutique centered on faith, family
NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - Family and faith are two key pillars of Autumn Grace Boutique in North Augusta.
They’re a new shop on Martintown Road.
We caught up with the owner as she gets ready for her first spring in the store.
Alicia Byars and her husband spent 16 years in the pine straw business.
After her father-in-law ed away and her oldest daughter finished college, they were looking for something new to do as a family.
‘This is my dream’: Augusta business offers Vietnamese sandwiches, more
A new year means new businesses are opening up all across our area. We stopped by Paris Banh Mi just ahead of their first official day.

“She’s always loved fashion, so one day we saw on Facebook marketplace the mobile boutique bus was for sale, so we bought that and started our journey that way,” said Byars.
So, they opened Autumn Grace Boutique.
The plan was to just have the mobile bus, but when they had a chance to open up a storefront, they couldn’t turn it down.
“There again God’s hand just showing us, ‘Hey hold on i’ve got something great for you,’” said Byars.
It’s not pine straw, but it’s still serving the community and it allows them to do it as a family.
They travel to Atlanta together to pick out what clothes will be available and they each have their roles within the store.

At Murphey Middle School, students celebrated Black History Month with a live wax museum on Wednesday afternoon.

“My husband Greg–he did all the construction himself,” said Byars. “Our youngest is here, too. They are both in charge of social media. Our oldest is employed full time, so she runs the cash . Dy-to-day operations, she’s the store manager.”
Creating a family environment in a boutique named after their two biggest values–family and faith.
“The name Autumn Grace comes from our girls’ middle names. But also autumn means new beginnings and grace means you’re blessed and favored by God,” said Byars.
If you wanna go check them out, they’re located right next to the YMCA on Martintown Road in North Augusta.
