Elon Musk says he wants to privatize the US Postal Service and Amtrak

(CNN) – There’s no doubt where Elon Musk stands on privatization.
He said during a conference Wednesday that he believes the U.S. should make private anything that can be reasonably privatized.
That includes the U.S. Postal Service and Amtrak.
During the conference, Musk referenced the vast train transportation systems in other countries, calling Amtrak “a sad situation.”
Musk also said a service needs to have the risk of going bankrupt in order to have a good loop for improvement.
Musk acknowledged that a lot of these changes would require acts of Congress.
