Name released for 23-year-old killed in Bamberg County crash
BAMBERG, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - We now know the name of a driver who died in a Bamberg County crash, one of two fatal wrecks over the weekend across the region.
The crash happened around 5 a.m. Saturday on U.S. 78 at McKenna Lane.
The coroner identified the victim as Daymein Hiott, 23, who was living in Barnwell but originally from Walterboro. An autopsy has been scheduled.
Pedestrian dies after accident on Jimmie Dyess Parkway
A 37-year-old man from the Atlanta area was killed in an accident on Jimmie Dyess Parkway near Wrightsboro Road, according to authorities.

Authorities say a 2010 Hyundai Accent was going west on U.S. 78 when it went off the right side of the roadway, struck a mailbox and then went back onto the roadway, drove off the left side of the road and hit a tree.
Hiott died on the scene, according to troopers.
On Sunday afternoon, a two-vehicle crash killed one person 1 mile south of Eutawville in Orangeburg County.
It happened at 2:17 p.m. on Eutaw Road, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

A 2015 Chevy sport utility vehicle was driving south on Eutaw Road and a Honda sedan was driving north on the same road. The sedan ran off the road to its left and the SUV ran off the road to its right, hitting the sedan.
The driver of the SUV died at the scene, according to troopers.
