Augusta man arrested after shooting injures 1 on Keron Way
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office says a man has been arrested after a shooting on Keron Way.
The sheriff’s office says Joseph Scott Dillard, 30, was arrested on Thursday.
On Monday, the sheriff’s office announced Dillard was wanted in connected to an aggravated assault that occurred Sunday in the 1500 block of Keron Way.
Manhunt launched for escaped inmate from Twin City
The Georgia Department of Corrections, with the help of other local authorities, is searching for an escaped inmate from Emanuel Probation Detention Center in Twin City.

According to the incident report, deputies responded to a home on Keron Way in reference to an individual with a gunshot wound.
While on scene, deputies found a man in the kitchen holding pressure to his upper left thigh area.
After monthlong search, missing Ga. teacher’s body found in lake
Gary Jones went missing along with his fiancée, Spelman College professor Joycelyn Wilson, in Lake Oconee on Feb. 8. His body was found Sunday.

The victim told deputies Dillard shot him while he was walking down the dirt driveway.
Dillard was seen driving a silver Dodge Ram pickup after the shooting.
