SLED investigating home fire death in Orangeburg County

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The Orangeburg County coroner said 63-year-old Mary Watkins was pronounced dead after a fire at her home Monday.
The fire happened on Gilway Street in Holly Hill.
Officials say SLED and the Orangeburg County Coroner’s Office is investing the death.
An autopsy is planned for later this week.
