Wrong-way driver arrested after crash on Riverwatch Parkway
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A North Augusta woman has been arrested after a crash on Riverwatch Parkway on Monday night.
The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to the eastbound lanes of Riverwatch Parkway at Sterling Road in reference to an accident at 11:56 p.m.
Deputies say Onette Alexis Abrams was driving the wrong way on Riverwatch Parkway and struck another vehicle head-on.

An Augusta man has been arrested and accused of touching himself while watching kids play nearby.

Two occupants of the other vehicle were transported to Wellstar MCG for serious injuries suffered in the crash, according to deputies.
The sheriff’s office says alcohol contributed to the crash and Abrams was committed to the Charles B. Webster Detention Center.
