Masters champions’ dinner menu looks familiar this year
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Masters champion Scottie Scheffler has decided on his menu when he hosts the Masters Club dinner, and it wasn’t a big surprise — it’s a lot like the one he selected the last time he was champion.
COMING UP
The menu: Masters Club dinner
- Appetizers: Cheeseburger sliders served Scottie-style, firecracker shrimp sweet with Thai chili and sriracha mayo, and Papa Scheff’s meatball and ravioli bites with pecorino cheese and tomato basil sauce.
- First course: Texas-style chili with cheddar cheese, jalapenos, corn chips.
- Main course: Choice of wood-fired cowboy ribeye or blackened redfish served with family-style macaroni and cheese, jalapeno creamed corn soy glazed brussels sprouts and chipotle-lime roasted sweet potatoes.
- Dessert: warm chocolate chip skillet cookie vanilla bean ice cream.
The Masters Club dinner dates to 1952, an idea started by Ben Hogan for all the Masters champions to have dinner. The only other person in the room is the club chairman by invitation of the winners.

It’s T-minus 19 days until tournament week begins and Augusta is kicking into high gear to make sure everything is in top shape for when guests arrive.

Previous menus have ranged from sushi (Hideki Matsuyama) to Moreton Bay bugs (Adam Scott) to sockeye salmon tartare (Mike Weir).
And, of course, there’s Scheffler’s 2023 menu, which also included cheeseburger sliders served “Scottie-style,” firecracker shrimp, ribeye steak or blackened redfish and a warm chocolate chip skillet cookie.
The Masters Tournament takes place April 10-13 at Augusta National Golf Club, preceded by practice rounds and other activities.
