Nearly 200K cans of green beans sold at Target recalled
(Gray News) - Nearly 200,000 cans of green beans sold at Target have been recalled.
According to the Food and Drug istration, cans of Good & Gather Cut Green Beans could potentially be contaminated with a foreign object.
The affected cans have a “Best if Used By” date of Oct. 28, 2026, and the lot number: Lot AA 418507.
The cans sold in nearly two dozen states, including Alabama, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Ohio and Texas.
The product’s manufacturer, Del Monte Foods, Inc., initiated the Class II recall. According to the FDA, a Class II recall means the recalled product may cause “temporary or medically reversible adverse health effects.”
The recall is listed as “ongoing.” No further information was provided at this time.
