AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Rain will move out leaving partly cloudy skies for the afternoon. High temperatures will only reach the lower 70s. While conditions are improving there is still a burn ban in place for the entire state of South Carolina until further notice

Our next front brings the chance for showers on today. Rain totals look to be less than 0.25″. Highs will be a smidge cooler in the lower 70s, then we are back to dry conditions and warmer-than-average temperatures for Tuesday through Saturday.

High pressure builds back in for Tuesday bringing with is mostly sunny skies and warmer than average highs in the mid to upper 70s.

Overnight lows most of the week will go back and forth in the 40s and 50s. Keep a jacket handy each morning.

Wednesday through Friday we’ll continue to see mostly sunny skies with highs in the mid to upper 70s.

Our next rain chance will hold off until Sunday at this point. Highs will continue to remain warm in the low to mid 80s.
