Man charged of rape after allegedly giving teen alcohol at downtown bar
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A man has been arrested after he allegedly raped a 17-year-old girl after meeting her in downtown Augusta, according to authorities.
Sang Han, 32, was arrested on Monday in connection to a rape.
According to an incident report from the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, the victim met Han at SOLE Augusta on Saturday, where Han bought the victim alcoholic drinks.
The victim stated Han told her he was a lieutenant in a government official job and in his 20s, according to deputies.
Teen arrested after allegedly making multiple false active shooter calls
An 18-year-old has been arrested on felony charges after allegedly making multiple false active shooter calls to 911.

The incident report states as the victim and Han were dancing in the bar, she began to feel nauseous. Han then told the victim’s friends he would take her back to her dorm room on Spellman Street.
Deputies say after the victim was in Han’s car, she noticed he was taking her to an unknown apartment complex, which was later identified as Sage Creek Apartments, where Han lived.
The victim stated Han took her into the apartment and raped her, according to the incident report.
2 dead after alleged murder-suicide on Walnut Court
Two people have died after an alleged murder-suicide on Walnut Court Thursday morning.
The victim’s friends stated they could not find the victim at the bar. They began tracking the victim’s phone through a shared location, according to the report.
The incident report states the victim’s friends found the victim at Han’s apartment, wearing different clothes.
Deputies spoke with the friend’s, who stated the victim told Han she was 17 years old before he bought her drinks, according to the report.
Han was booked into the Charles B. Webster Detention Center on Monday. He is charged with one count of rape.
