Richmond County deputies search for missing teens, others

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is looking for multiple missing people.

Michael Letron Harris Jr.

Deputies say Michael Letron Harris Jr., 16, was last seen on March 13, on the 3600 block of Peach Orchard Road.

Harris has been seen in the apartment complexes on the 3600 block of Peach Orchard Road.

He is described as being 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing around 180 pounds.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office says it’s also looking for several other missing people.

Joseph Ronald Miele

Joseph Miele, 41, was last seen this month in the 2000 block of Ellis Street when he was evicted from a residence he was renting.

Authorities released a photo of him and said he’s 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs 300 pounds.

He is possibly homeless, could be in the Harrisburg or downtown area, and may not be taking medication he needs.

Kemara Wimberly

Runaway Kemora Wimberly, 16, was last seen Feb. 27 in the 500 block of Fenwick Street in Augusta, running from the Department of Family and Children Services Office, according to deputies.

She is known to frequent the area of Jennings Homes off Olive Road, Glenn Hills Circle and Arcadia Drive.

She has run away in the past, according to previous news coverage.

Julia Bridges-Lora

Julia Bridges-Lora was last seen on January 26 on Alexander Drive near Riverwatch Parkway.

Bridges-Lora is known to frequent the business in the areas of Alexander Drive, Washington Road, and Cabela’s Drive.

Charles Curry

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is also looking for 49-year-old Charles Curry, who has been missing since Feb. 3.

Curry was last seen at 10:30 pm on Deans Bridge Road at Gordon Highway.

He was reportedly last seen wearing a black t-shirt and red plaid pajama pants.

Anyone who comes in with Curry or has any information as to his whereabouts is asked to any investigator at the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office at 706-821-1020 or 706-821-1080.

FOUND

Octavia Wilcox

Deputies say Octavia Wilcox, 16, was last seen on March 24 on the 2400 block of Belgrade Court.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office says Wilcox was found in Miami, Fl. and has been reunited with her family.

Joseph Mills

Joseph Mills, 72, was last seen in January of this year.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office says he was found and reunited with his family.

Joseph Mitchell Hancock

Joseph Hancock had last been seen on Dec. 23 in the 2500 block of Central Avenue.

Authorities said Thursday he’d been located safe in Newnan.

Ronald Jones

A missing 61-year-old man, Ronald Jones, has been found safe, Richmond County deputies said Tuesday.

Ronald Jones had last been seen at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday on Fayetteville Drive near the Azalea Park Apartments.

Joel Flemming Wilson

Joel Flemming Wilson, 51, has been found, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office announced Tuesday.

He’d last been seen Feb. 21 in the 1100 block of 11th Avenue.

Robert Wall

Robert Wall, 45, had last been seen on Tuesday on the 3600 block of Wheeler Road after walking out of Doctors Hospital.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office says Wall was found on Thursday and is safe.

Janice Carla Tunnell

Janice Carla Tunnell had last been seen Saturday around 1:30 p.m. leaving from a personal care home in the 1900 block of Sagemont Drive.

Authorities said Thursday she had been found and was safe.
