Augusta National Women’s Amateur competitors prepare for first round
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - The practice round for the sixth Augusta National Women’s Amateur began on Tuesday.
Seventy-two of the best amateur players in the world are getting a feel for Champions Retreat.
Augusta reveals traffic plans for Masters Tournament
On Wednesday, the city unveiled the traffic plan for tournament week.
The first 36 holes will be played at Champions Retreat on Wednesday and Thursday.
After a practice round on Friday at Augusta National for all players, the top 30 will head to the final round at Augusta National Golf Club on Saturday.
If you plan to go to Augusta National Golf Club, there are some items you cannot bring with you.
Those include golf shoes with metal spikes, weapons, electronics like cellphones, cameras and strollers.
