39-year-old man charged in Augusta aggravated sodomy case
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - An Augusta man has been arrested after an alleged aggravated sodomy against a victim with autism, according to arrest warrants.
Terrell Lawshawn Murray, 39, was arrested on Tuesday, according to jail bookings.
Arrest warrants state that at around midnight on Tuesday, Murray forced the victim to perform oral sex on him, against the will of the victim.
Murray did “knowingly and willfully exploit an elderly person by improperly using said resources through undue influence, coercion, duress, deception, false representation for his own illegal profit,” arrest warrants state.
Incident report sheds light on police chase turned deadly in Augusta
An incident report from the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office is shedding more light on a multi-county police chase that turned deadly on Monday night.

Arrest warrants state that the victim’s mother then arrived at the incident location and observed the act. The victim has a diagnosis of severe autism and is also non-verbal.
The incident occurred at 1052 Claussen Road, Studio Lodge Extended Stay, according to arrest warrants.
Murray is charged with aggravated sodomy and exploitation of an elderly or disabled person, according to jail bookings.
