Boil water advisory issued for some Beech Island residents
BEECH ISLAND, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - The Beech Island Water District says a boil water advisory is in effect to due to a water line break on Thursday.
The water district says the notice will be in effect for Scarborough Drive, Emory Drive, Edisto Drive, from 480 Beech Island Avenue to Lamar Drive, Pine Log Road, between Glenwood Drive and Hillman Street, Keys Dairy Road and the Oxford Place neighborhood or if you experience low or no water pressure.
There has been no confirmed contamination of the system.

Customers in the listed affected areas are advised to boil their water for at least one full minute before drinking or cooking until notified otherwise.
Any ice made from the water that has not been boiled should not be used.
