WAYNESBORO, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A local first grader got the best birthday gift ever.
Seven-year-old Jacob Johnson had just one birthday wish, the return of his father.
After eight months deployed at the Mexican border, National Guardsman Justin Johnson made his son’s wish come true.
He surprised Jacob during lunchtime at Waynesboro Primary School on Wednesday.
