AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Cooler air moves in for the majority of this week. Morning lows near 40° are possible Wednesday and Thursday morning. As of now, it does not look like there will be any frost concerns for your spring garden, but you will want to monitor the forecast for changes.

High temperatures today and Wednesday will be near 70° after cooler mornings in the 40s. Wind doesn’t look too breezy the next few days and should be sustained less than 10 mph. Wind direction will be out of the northwest behind the cold front and then out of the east Wednesday as high pressure centers to our northeast.

Rain will be possible again by Thursday night into Friday as our next front pushes through the region. Rain chances Friday are mainly for the morning hours, but timing could change since it is still several days out. We are not expecting severe weather Friday, but elevated instability could lead to few rumbles of thunder.

Looking dry for the weekend with morning lows in the mid-40s and afternoon highs near 70°. Keep it here for updates!
