AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Showers and storms will move through late tonight into early Friday morning - severe weather is not expected, but lightning, heavy rain, and gusty winds are possible with storms. Windy Friday as the front pushes through with gusts near 30 mph. Dry weekend ahead with temperatures slightly cooler than average.
Showers and storms will move in Thursday night through Friday morning as our next front pushes through the region. Rain chances Friday are mainly for the morning hours, only isolated showers possible in the afternoon. Highs Friday will be in the low 70s. It will be windy Friday with winds out of the west between 15-20 mph and gusts 25-30 mph.
Looking dry for the weekend with morning lows in the mid-40s and afternoon highs near 70°. By Monday of next week we can anticipate high temperatures to climb back into the 80s! Keep it here for updates!
