Local girl sells paintings to benefit St. Jude Children’s Hospital
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - A Columbia County third grader is healing patients at St. Jude Children’s Hospital one azalea and putting green at a time.
The golf-week inspired paintings speak for themselves, and Ryann Breeding hand-painted all of them.
But what makes it even more special is that all proceeds from her artwork will go straight to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
New STEAM lab to serve an estimated 20K local students
Augusta will be home to one of only four nationally recognized science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) education centers, thanks to the project.

Breeding shared with us why she wants to give back to the kids at the hospital.
“There are kids that are really sick and they can’t go outside and play, and a lot of times they can’t see their parents and I’m really thankful that I’m healthy and I want to do something nice and helpful,” said Breeding.
Getting ready for Easter? Here are some events happening in our area
With Easter just around the corner, you may be wanting to check out some local events for your family to enjoy.

She says she made more than $2,300 for St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
“My goal is to raise so much money that all the kids in the hospital can just come out healed and healthy,” said Breeding. “Thank you to all the people who ed my art, and I hope they can raise money for St. Jude too.”
