AUGUSTA, Ga. - Inflation may be driving up food costs across the country, but patrons generally won’t see those increases at Augusta National.

The prices here have mostly remained fixed for years, and you can still have a good lunch for under $5.

A club sandwich or barbecue sandwich still goes for $3.

The price of a beer did increase to $6 last year, jumping up from $5 in 2023.

Among the most famous menu items are the pimento cheese sandwich — which consists of shredded cheese, mayonnaise, diced pimentos, and various seasonings on two slices of white bread — as well as the egg salad sandwich. They cost $1.50 each.

The barbecue sandwich is also a favorite

New this year is the tomato pie, supposedly here for a limited time.

The handheld version of the savory Southern favorite looks more like a Hot Pocket or an empanada than a piece of pie.

It’s a little reimagined from the one your grandma made.

This one tastes a little more Italian, though it still has discernible cherry tomatoes inside it rather than sauce.

We asked some first-time patrons to give us an honest review of the sandwiches:

  • Travis Key: “That’s solid, everything I dreamed of.”
  • Paige Hastings: “Well they’re famous. They’re famous and they’re delicious. I already had my chicken salad sandwich.”
  • Manny Selvaggio: “It lived up to the hype. That’s delicious.”
